Departures & delivery times
When do your trucks leave for Zambia?
Every Tuesday and Friday, from our office at 125 Benoni Road, Rynfield, South Africa (East Rand, Johannesburg).
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery to Lusaka, the Copperbelt and Solwezi is 3 to 7 days from departure, depending on the destination and border clearance.
Which towns do you deliver to?
Lusaka, the Copperbelt (Ndola, Kitwe, Chingola, Mufulira, Chililabombwe, Kalulushi), North-Western Province (Solwezi, Lumwana, Kalumbila) and every provincial capital in Zambia. If your town is not listed, ask us when you request a quote.
Where do I drop off my goods?
At our South African office, 125 Benoni Road, Rynfield, South Africa. We can also arrange collection.
How do I track my shipment?
Every shipment has a tracking number starting with CBT. Enter it on our Track Shipment page to see the latest status.
Prices, payment & release
How much does it cost to send goods to Zambia?
Prices depend on the weight and volume of your goods and the import duty that applies to them. Use our online estimator for a rough figure, then request a quote for a firm price.
Can I pay in Rand or Kwacha?
Yes, you can pay in Rand (ZAR) or Kwacha (ZMW).
When are my goods released?
All cargo is released only once payment has been made in full. We do not offer a credit service.
Customs & what you can send
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes. We handle customs clearance and border paperwork for your goods.
Is import duty charged?
Import duty depends on the goods you send and forms part of the cost of moving them to Zambia. We explain it when we prepare your quote.
What can’t I send?
We do not carry guns, drugs or banned substances.
Do you carry hazardous or refrigerated goods?
Yes, we carry all types of cargo. Tell us what you are sending when you request a quote so we can plan the right handling.
Shopping in South Africa
Can I use your South African address for online orders?
Yes. Have orders from Takealot, Shein, Amazon.co.za or any South African store delivered to our office at 125 Benoni Road, Rynfield, South Africa, and we send them to Zambia on the next truck.
Can you buy goods for me?
Yes. Our assisted shopping service buys from South African stores on your behalf, checks the goods and ships them with your other parcels.
